NOTE FROM THE DESIGNER

Mental Downtime was built at the beginning of my instructional design career and served as my master’s thesis project. At the time, my skills were still developing, so this design work is NOT my best.

The content, however, I love.

I believe this project showcases my ability to research, synthesize information, and translate complex ideas into a clear, structured learning experience. The course focuses on communicating the importance of mental downtime in an accessible, engaging, and easy-to-follow way.

As always, every element within this experience was created by me: the content, animations, video production, and voiceover. While the visuals are simple, they were intentionally built to support the narrative and reinforce key concepts throughout the course.

This project represents an early stage in my evolution as a designer and learning experience creator, highlighting a strong foundation in storytelling, content development, and end-to-end execution.
