NOTE FROM THE DESIGNER
Ghost Bar began as a powerful idea that was difficult to articulate. Two leaders approached me, “we have a vision for a new program, but stakeholders struggle to understand what it is!”
After asking clarifying questions to uncover the core intention behind the concept, I wrote all the copy, translating their thinking into a clear, compelling narrative.
With no visual direction beyond “speakeasy,” I developed the brand from scratch. Drawing inspiration from Art Deco, I layered in a moody, haunted atmosphere using dark gradients and dramatic typography to create an immersive feel. I then designed the full digital experience to ensure the story flowed with intention, using visuals to help stakeholders truly see the plan in action.
To make the concept tangible, I even mocked up a fully realized DoorDash-style website so leaders could demonstrate exactly how the program would function in real life.
The result is a cohesive brand and experience that transformed an abstract idea into something clear, visual, and actionable.
